I am often asked which shows are my favorite to perform and which ones do I remember. Let me first say that it is all about my audience. What do I mean? Since my shows are 100% audience participation I feed off the crowd. If I am performing my stand up show for 300 people in a theater and the audience is relatively quiet then I know I need to switch up what I am doing in order to get them more involved. 10 or 300 it doesn’t matter. You can tell when the crowd is enjoying what you are doing and as a performer you need to be able to change your set on the fly.
Last night I performed for a group of women who get together once a month for Bunco. I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable shows I have performed in quite a while. I took my stage show and adapted it for a parlor room setting. From the moment I came out the ladies where laughing and having a good time. I fed off their energy and rolled for an extra thirty minutes past my normal show time. It is all about my audience! This will go down as one of my favorite private performances. Thanks ladies!
